Applies to: PRIME Health Professionals Network LLC and all brands and properties operated by PHPN, including but not limited to primehealthpros.com and blackmenshealthguide.com.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy governs all purchases and service engagements made through PRIME Health Professionals Network LLC (“PHPN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and its brands, including but not limited to the Black Men’s Health Guide (BMHG). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of PHPN’s Terms of Service (available at https://primehealthpros.com/terms).
Different types of purchases are subject to different refund terms, as described below. Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase.
2. Digital Products
This section applies to all digital downloads, e-books, and digital publications sold by PHPN or any of its brands, including the Black Men’s Health Bible (Vol. 1 and any subsequent volumes) and any other digital products offered in the future.
2a. Final Sale After Download or Access
All sales of digital products are final once the file has been downloaded or accessed. Because digital products are immediately accessible upon download, we are generally unable to offer refunds once delivery has occurred.
2b. Seven-Day Refund Window (Non-Downloaded Products)
If you purchased a digital product and have not yet downloaded or accessed the file, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the date of purchase.
To request a refund under this provision:
- Email info@primehealthpros.com within 7 days of your purchase date.
- Include your Order ID (found in your purchase confirmation email) and the email address used at checkout.
- Confirm that you have not downloaded or accessed the digital file.
We reserve the right to verify download status before approving a refund. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.
2c. Defective or Undeliverable Digital Products
If you did not receive your digital product after purchase due to a delivery error, or if the file you received is corrupted or defective, please contact us at info@primehealthpros.com within 14 days of purchase. We will resend the file or, at our discretion, issue a refund.
3. Physical Products
This section is a future-proof provision for any physical products PHPN may offer.
3.1 Return Window. Physical products may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, provided the item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
3.2 Return Shipping. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received in a defective or damaged condition or was shipped in error by PHPN.
3.3 Refund Processing. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
3.4 Non-Returnable Items. Items that are opened, used, or damaged through customer handling may not be eligible for return.
4. Professional and Staffing Services
4.1 Payments made for locum tenens placements, physician staffing engagements, or other professional services arranged through PRIME Health Professionals Network are governed by the individual service agreement or statement of work applicable to that engagement.
4.2 No general refund is available for professional or staffing services unless expressly provided in the applicable written service agreement. If you believe a refund is warranted, please refer to your contract or contact info@primehealthpros.com to discuss.
5. Subscriptions
This section is a future-proof provision for any subscription-based products or services PHPN may offer.
5.1 Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting info@primehealthpros.com.
5.2 Effective Date of Cancellation. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to subscription benefits through the end of the period for which you have already paid.
5.3 No Prorated Refunds. PHPN does not provide prorated refunds for unused time in the current billing period, unless required by applicable law.
5.4 Automatic Renewal. Where subscriptions auto-renew, PHPN will provide advance notice of renewal charges as required by applicable law.
6. How to Request a Refund
For any refund request, please email info@primehealthpros.com with the following information:
- Your full name
- Email address used at the time of purchase
- Order ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- Description of the product or service purchased
- Reason for the refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a determination within 7 business days.
7. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you are dissatisfied with a purchase, we encourage you to contact PHPN first at info@primehealthpros.com or 404-217-7831 before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication, and chargebacks may delay resolution and result in additional processing fees.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting PHPN may be considered a violation of these Terms and the Terms of Service.
